The HSE will be launching their new dust campaign from the 11th September. Dust is a priority topic with the HSE as there are 500+ silica related deaths per year, silica is also the second most important cause of occupational lung cancer after asbestos and construction workers have a 2-3 times greater risk of contracting COPD.
