We're set to exhibit our food centric capabilities at FoodEX this month, including our range of Good For Food brushes that are manufactured specifically for the food industry, along with our stainless steel DC1800 – an extraction unit perfect for capturing fine and hazardous food related dust particles.
FoodEX is the UK's premier trade event for the food and drink processing, packaging and logistics industries, and we're a regular exhibitor. We're set to be on stand J271 where we'll be looking to engage with visitors and demonstrate extraction solutions that work best for them.
James Miller, who is the General Manager of Dustcontrol UK said of the event: "FoodEX is an excellent exhibition and one that's really important for us. It gives us the opportunity to showcase our food specific capabilities, which helps us to demonstrate our worth to key decision makers in the food industry."
He continued: "Our Good For Food brushes, for example, have been developed specifically for the needs of the food industry, so FoodEX gives us the opportunity to convey their qualities directly to those that will recognise the benefits they bring."
The Good For Food brushes offer a unique combination of properties. They're antistatic and ESD certified, which means they can be used in Atex Zone 22, where dust explosions can occur. They are also approved for food surface contact, being both FDA compliant and the European equivalent.
The brushes' colour coding, covering five handle colours and two interchangeable brush colours, allows for different applications in the factory, different areas or even for different days of the week depending on need. In addition, their material composition makes them detectable via metal detector as well as being autoclavable up to 121 degrees Celsius, allowing for high pressure saturated steam cleaning.
James commented: "They're far more than merely 'brushes' with a wealth of R&D going into their development. We're delighted to be able to bring them to FoodEX and hoping they'll catch the eye of those in attendance."
In addition to our brushes, we'll be showcasing the DC1800, with a stainless steel, antistatic chassis. This extractor is currently our most popular piece of equipment within the food industry thanks to its versatility and portability. Suitable for general cleaning and source extraction the DC1800 is a lightweight, yet powerful dust extractor.
James concluded: "We're really looking forward to FoodEX and are confident our extraction capabilities will be well received. The GFF brushes and DC1800 are popular choices for food processing plants, and we're hoping to spread awareness of their beneficial properties, helping to extend their improvement of safety and hygiene standards."
